Division of Endoscopy

This division brings diagnosis and treatment together using endoscopy: upper gastrointestinal, small-bowel, colon, pancreatic and biliary, and bronchial endoscopy. We conduct examination and treatment of about 11,000 cases each year.

Management System

In addition to the Head, three exclusive teachers, five medical staff, the head nurse, 10 nurses, and three clerical staff, endoscopy specialists of Gastroenterology, Gastroenterological Surgery, Respiratory Medicine and Surgery, and General Medicine undertake examination and treatment.
We perform endoscopy by installing the latest equipment on nine examination tables in the completely separated examination rooms. The recovery room after examination is also satisfactory.

Management Policy

Doctors and nurses collaborate to provide safe, high-level, and painless examination for patients. We double-check at the time of examination and a film conference at a later date to prevent oversight.
Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy can be performed on the day you visit if coming the hospital in a fasting condition.
