Division of Hemodialysis and Apheresis

We initiate the hemodialysis therapy in the patients with acute and chronic renal failure, and provide the maintenance dialysis to the patients requiring intervention and surgery in our hospital. We also perform the hemodialysis in prior to the kidney transplantation and the apheresis in the patients with neurological and collagen diseases.

Management System

This Division consists of seven medical staffs, eight nurses, and one clinical engineer. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, two sections (morning / afternoon) of hemodialysis therapy are performed. On Tuesday and Thursday, mainly temporary hemodialysis and apheresis therapies are provided.

Management Policy

  • We provide advanced and safe medical care as a regional core facility.
  • In collaboration with various departments, we properly provide hemodialysis as a part of general care and for management of renal failure through fluid control, medication, and diet therapy.

Main Testing Methods and Medical Facilities

This Division has fifteen equipment for hemodialysis, fifteen digital scale beds with monitoring system, one equipment for plasma exchange, and one equipment for plasma adsorption. We provide plasma exchange, double filtration plasma exchange, leukapheresis and plasma adsorption as apheresis therapy.
